Inspirada por la tradición andaluza, la línea gráfica busca representar el carácter popular y llano de las obras cortas escritas por los Hermanos Quintero. Estas tratan sobre el amor de una manera cómica y ligera, con una fuerte presencia del folclore del sur y sus tradiciones.
Art direction and poster design with their adaptations for a theatre play by La Curvatura Teatro company. Inspired by the Andalusian tradition, the graphic line seeks to portray the popular and straightforward nature of the short plays written by the Quintero Brothers. These works explore love in a comedic and light-hearted manner, with a strong presence of Spanish southern folklore and its traditions.
La gráfica busca recoger esos rasgos dándole el protagonismo al abanico, símbolo por excelencia de la feminidad andaluza, decorándolo con besos. El juego da como resultado una imagen que representa la pasión y el amor de manera inocente y recuerda al imaginario andaluz y los trajes flamencos.
The graphics aim to capture these traits by centering the attention around a hand-fan, the quintessential symbol of Andalusian femininity, adorned with kisses. This results in an image that represents passion and love in an innocent way, reminiscent of the Andalusian imagery and flamenco dresses.
La línea visual permite adaptar la imagen al antojo para diferentes usos secundarios en torno a la obra. Se identificaron, por ejemplo, las camisetas para el equipo de producción o pases identificativos para el personal autorizado.
The visual language allows adapting the branding to any secondary need related to the play. Some examples are the t-shirts worn by the production team or the ID cards for authorized personnel.
